Right Weekend is a static site. It has no accounts, no comments and nothing to log into, and you are not reading this through a consent banner — the next section says why.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and which links people use, in aggregate. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland analytics cookies are switched off before the script is allowed to load: Google receives a ping with no identifier in it, nothing is stored on your device, and those visits are therefore estimated rather than counted. That is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

Everywhere else, Analytics sets its own cookie on this domain to tell a returning reader from a new one. It holds a random number, not your name or your email, and we never upload anything about you to it. Advertising storage and ad personalisation are switched off in every country, because this site runs no advertising.

The script is not loaded at all for the first three seconds, and then only once you scroll, tap or press a key. Open a page and leave again and nothing is sent.

Affiliate links

Links to booking sites pass through a redirect on this domain and then go to the partner. The partner — Booking.com, Expedia, Stay22 and others — sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy once you arrive, which is how a booking gets credited to us. We do not receive your booking details, name or payment information, only aggregate commission reports.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address is stored by MailerLite, our newsletter provider, and used for one email a month and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.

What we never do

We do not sell data, we do not run advertising networks that profile you, and we do not embed social widgets. Third-party content is limited to the hotel map and the tours widget on event pages, and those load only when you scroll to them.
