Getting there

Shannon is the airport to fly into: 40 minutes from Adare by road and small enough to clear in twenty. Cork is 90 minutes, Dublin about two and a half hours on the M7.

There is no train to Adare. Limerick Colbert has trains from Dublin Heuston in just over two hours; from there it is a 35-minute drive or the regional bus along the N21.

Hire a car or plan a transfer in advance. Match-day traffic on the N21 is the whole story of this event: park-and-ride from Limerick will be the official answer, and the roads around the village close early.
