Getting there

Palm Springs is the airport to use: thirty-five minutes from the site and small enough to clear quickly. Los Angeles is two and a half hours away on a good day, and festival weekends are not good days.

Shuttle passes run from hotels across the valley and are the only sane way in and out — parking at the site means a long walk and a longer exit.

April in the desert runs to the mid-thirties by afternoon and drops sharply after dark. Both matter if you are camping.
